CakePoker’s journey started in April, 2004, with a small team who were given a difficult mission: to design a better poker site. Each member of the core team had extensive experience in the fields of networking, database management, financial transactions and video game design. As the team commenced the journey to bring this vision to fruition, Cake Gaming N.v. were fortunate to locate and selectively choose a number of uniquely experienced team members who all brought incredible value to the table. Full production with the final team began nearly a year after in April, 2005, and Cake Gaming N.v. began to put all Cake Gaming N.v.'s designs to the test. Not all the ideas survived the process and some wait in the wings for their moment in the sun, but Cake Gaming N.v. are proud to bring you the start of a new take on a grand old game.

In these first few months, CakePoker is proud to quietly host Cake Gaming N.v.'s new service for a select few, in order to better respond to any technical issues that may arise.
